CONTENT MARKETING

Content marketing agency Brisbane: written to move a number.

Written to convert buyers into enquiries.

Most firms don't have a content problem, they have a content-with-no-purpose problem: twenty articles nobody can connect to a single client, published because the retainer needed evidence of activity.

No obligation. Start with the facts.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

If you've published content for a year and still can't point to what it's done, keep reading.

01

Content published, nothing moved

Twelve months of articles. Rankings flat, enquiries flat. The only thing that grew was the archive.

02

A blog nobody can point to as "why we won that client"

Ask anyone in the firm which piece brought in work. The answer is a pause.

03

Generic articles that could belong to any competitor

Take your logo off the page and it could be any firm in the country. Nothing in it that only you could have written.

04

No line from a piece of content to a booked call

Nobody can trace one enquiry back to one article, which means nobody can defend the spend when it's questioned.

None of this means content doesn't work for a firm like yours. It means most content is written without a clear conversion purpose. That's the part we changed.

Most agencies publish content so the retainer has something to show.

We publish it to move a number.

HOW WE RUN IT

Every piece traceable to the research behind it.

Nothing gets written here without a reason attached to it before drafting, and the reason is a number.

01

Buyer question

02

Your expertise

03

A measurable purpose

01

Diagnose.

Keyword and question research first: what your buyers actually search, what stage of the decision they're at when they search it, and which of those questions your competitors are answering better than you. That's the plan. Then we write the pieces against that plan, so research directs the writing.

02

Construct.

Each piece gets a brief before it gets a draft: target term, the question it answers, the internal links it carries, and what it's meant to do. Written to help a buyer make a decision, with enough detail to answer their questions. Where subject-matter expertise is needed, it comes out of your head and into ours in a half-hour call. A writer who has never worked in your sector cannot invent that expertise.

03

Bank.

Each piece reported against what it was published to do: where it ranks, whether AI tools cite it, what it brought in. Content that doesn't earn its place gets rewritten or removed rather than quietly accumulating.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

What content work covers.

01

Keyword and question research.

mapped to buying stage, so what gets written matches where someone is in deciding.

02

A content plan with a stated purpose per piece.

not a calendar of topics, a plan with a reason each item exists.

03

Writing and editing in your voice.

with your expertise in it. Each piece reflects the specifics of your sector and the questions your buyers need answered.

04

Service and industry page copy.

alongside articles. The pages that convert usually matter more than the blog.

05

Content written to be cited by AI tools.

which is now a different craft to writing for a skim-reading human. Explore this service →

06

Refreshing what you already have.

Often the fastest available win: improving existing pages that rank on page two before investing in new pieces that have no search visibility yet.

07

Reporting per piece.

on the dashboard.

We'll tell you if you don't need this. For some firms the constraint is the website or the ad account, and more articles would be the expensive way to avoid fixing it.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

The questions worth asking.

Fewer pieces than most agencies sell and better ones. A handful of pages that answer real buying questions properly will out-earn thirty generic posts, and cost less to produce.

We use AI for research, structuring and first-pass editing where it helps. The parts that need your actual expertise come from you, because otherwise the content reads as interchangeable. If we ever hand you something a model wrote unsupervised, you'll be able to tell, and that's the problem.

We work in four sectors, deliberately, so we're not learning yours from scratch. What we don't do is invent technical positions on your behalf; specifics come from a short call with you.

Search-driven pieces typically take months to produce results. Weeks is rarely a realistic expectation. The exception is refreshing pages that already rank on page two, which can move quickly, and it's usually where we start.

Where it makes sense. Derek and Courtney publish there themselves, which is one of DCB's own lead sources. So it's not theoretical advice.

Then the useful thing may be the plan and the briefs rather than the writing. We'll say so if that's the case.

THE DCB BASELINE

Find out which questions your buyers are asking and who's answering them.

The free Baseline shows where you rank, what AI tools say about you, and which content your competitors are winning with. No obligation, results in minutes.
